After creating the Preliminary Task, I thought it may be easier for me to see all the techniques I had used, if I put labels on them in the video - so I quickly did this and uploaded it too. I think it makes me notice the techniques much easier and I can keep an eye out for them when I next film.

This is a great idea, Kieran. You might have extended it further and included other techniques that were not explicitly part of the brief but you used, e.g. low angle shot.

ReplyDeleteI would have extended it, but to be honest I'd probably still miss some techniques, as sometimes I do techniques such as a match-on-action and don't even realise until someone else points it out. Also, the screen will be filled with text explanations of each shot - it may have been easier to take screenshots of each individual shot and point out each technique in a voiceover while the shots are being displayed onscreen?
